Biography
I have completed a BSc and MSc in Biology at the Novosibirsk State University. During this time, I worked at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS studying the transcriptional response to cold stress and salicylic acid in Arabidopsis thaliana. Both BSc and MSc projects involved transcriptomic analysis to find novel transcriptional regulators using bioinformatic tools and experimental validation of these predictions using knockout mutants.
I am excited to join Giles Oldroyd's group at the Crop Science Centre and to contribute my skills in molecular biology and bioinformatics to support research into the mechanisms underlying root endosymbiosis.
