Biography

Aliya Ihsantika Santosa is an MPhil student in Dr Jeongmin Choi’s group, where she investigates molecular mechanisms underlying the suppression of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (AM) symbiosis under waterlogging conditions. Aliya received her BSc in Biotechnology from the University of Edinburgh and gained extensive hands-on experience as a research technician for two years in Dr Choi’s crop resilience group. Her studies are supported by a full scholarship from the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, reflecting her commitment to advancing plant resilience research and contributing to sustainable agriculture.
