Joelle Harrison

Biography

Joelle is an MPhil student in Lida Derevnina's lab. Her research involves the usage of SPRYSEC10 as a molecular probe to elucidate activation strategies within the NLR network.
Joelle holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from Durham Univeristy. During her undergraduate studies, she gained valuble research experience as a summer research intern at the Honeybee Research Centre, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Here, she aided in successfully selectively breeding Ontario Honey Bees to select for resistance to the external parasite.
