Biography

I am Juliette Braganti, a French summer student in Uta’s team, working with Chai on rice crossings and maize mutants. I will be here until end of August.

This internship is part of my formation in my agronomist school (the French grande école “ENSAIA” in Nancy). In this school I learn the different techniques to grow plants in the fields, livestock farming, plants and animals breeding basics, phytopathology, soil science, economics, and bioeconomics. Before this engineer school, I had a two-year formation on general biology, geology, mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

I will graduate next year after having specialise in plant biotechnologies and having courses on the interactions between plants and their environment in the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of Nancy in parallel.

I am very happy to be part of CSC because I would like to do a PhD after my graduation, and I am really interested in plants interactions with other living organisms.
