Biography
I studied at the University of Sheffield for my undergraduate degree and the University of Leeds for my PhD. My research background is in cell walls, plasmodesmata, intercellular transport and rhizobial/arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis. I am now working in Uta Paszkowski's lab, researching the early arbuscular mycorrhiza interactions in rice. I love to engage in public outreach in a creative and educational way.
