Biography
Originally from Edinburgh, I studied Cell Biology at the University of Durham before embarking on a career at the bench. I now have 10 years of lab experience working on diverse projects in immunology, human genetic diseases, and DNA sequencing technologies.
Within Giles Oldroyd's group, I'll be helping to test the potential of cereals engineered to engage more proactively with fungal symbionts. I'm excited to learn about field trials, and to join the quest for sustainable productivity in agriculture.
