Sophie Perryman

Biography

I became fascinated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi throughout my undergraduate degree here at Cambridge. For my Part II project I worked to characterise the role of NRT1.1B in arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis in rice, as part of Dr Choi's lab. I'm so excited to be back as a lab technician/assistant to study how arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can contribute to crop resilience.
