Suzanne Milner
Research Laboratory Technician
Biography
Call me Suzie. I am a plant researcher who has worked in both the academic setting and commercial. I worked at University of Southampton from 2006-2018, mostly as a technician but also doing a PhD during that time. My PhD was in the flooding stress response of two poplar species, but the theme of my research in Southampton was plant interactions with their environment. From 2018-2021 I worked at University of California, Davis, which is one of the biggest agricultural universities in the US. I also has gained commercial experience with a baby-leaf salad growers and a pesticide/agronomy trials company.
